A Quote From Mary E. DeMuth
For My SF-Writing Pals

...Cause it's hard to write against the stream.

Remember this: Sometimes we're called to write things that aren't very popular. Sometimes we're called to write things that might bother people or make them angry. Remember that Jesus said difficult things even though it frittered away his "fan base." So, Jesus didn't work very hard on his platform, and when he did, it didn't go very well for him.

Sometimes, God calls us to risk enough in our prose that it can be painful....

But we must follow Jesus, literally.
